Library Accessibility Kits
The Autism Program of Illinois (TAP) is privileged to work with the Chicago Public Library, The Hope Institute for Children and Families and Have Dreams to provide this Library Accessibility Kit for Individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Children and youth with an ASD or other disabilities may experience anxiety and related behavior problems while accessing the many areas of the library. The Library Accessibility Kit was created to prepare and support individuals with ASDs to ensure that they have a safe, positive experience.
